This piece is a symbolic offering to Ix Chel, Maya Goddess of midwifery, medicine and weaving. Made of Wood, MDF and Yarn the work is 10′ from tip to tip, and 36″ across crosspieces. Placed third in juried student show.

These were created by assigning different formulas to the R, G and B values of a pixel, then using nested loops to process each individual pixel on the x and y axes.
The class is Procedural Image Generation. That’s a fancy way of saying Geek Art.

Spring 2007.
Made by creating a mold of my finger and knuckle. Wax positives were made, formed together, and cast in bronze.
