This piece is a symbolic offering to Ix Chel, Maya Goddess of midwifery, medicine and weaving. Made of Wood, MDF and Yarn the work is 10′ from tip to tip, and 36″ across crosspieces. Placed third in juried student show.

Big blue pill box. Fully functional with Plexiglas dividers and oversize pills.
Sadly the durn thing was too big to get more pics in the school studio. Will have to add more at a later date.
This was another attempt to equate an object’s scale to it’s personal importance.
Don’t forget your meds, y’all.
