After hammering out some basic concepts and design themes on paper, I pulled out the Sculpy and worked out some my basic prototypes.
I am now ready to present the initial line-up of 664 Characters:
These are based on the soft sculpture toys I produced last year for Technical Photography class, and then continued using for Animation I and II. These are just the working prototypes, and are not to scale, but will give me a firm starting point for creating in Maya.
I decided to stick with one species of monsters, although I did make some fun unrelated designs.
I was able to show these to Bruce, and he stated that yes, they did have appeal.
