In the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki room

February 21st, 2007 by serge

i finished my assigned scupture a class or two ahead of schedule, so Mrs Garrett (that’s her name) told me to make a bonus item.

and here he is:

Tiki2Tiki1Tiki3

based on Greg Brady’s mystical necklace, but a little bit self-portrait (check out that pomp!)

We have moved on to the next project, so I dont know when I will finish him, but it is just as well – the entire time I was carving, I would stop every few minutes to yell “OOGA-BOOGA!” a la Crash Bandicoot.

I dont think the rest of the class approved. they’re all Serious and Quiet – what’s up with that?

here is the Imaginary Museum Placard (IMP):

ooga-booga
plaster carving
(unfinished, feb 2007)

love,
serge
